Hi! I’m Mike, and I’m the owner of Ranger Services.

My journey into electrical work began unconventionally, through music. Since the mid-1990s, I’ve been wiring custom speaker systems, playing bass in bands, and doing studio work. Over time, I expanded into wiring harnesses for medical devices, boats, and RVs, eventually transitioning into full-time residential and commercial electrical work in 2016 when I moved to the Greenville area.

Ranger Services officially launched in the summer of 2020, during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Like many others, I was affected during the pandemic and lost my job. To stay afloat, I started a handyman service and named it after my dog, Ranger, carrying on his legacy of loyalty, resilience, and good vibes. As demand for electrical work grew, Ranger Services naturally evolved into a people-first, safety-driven electrical business.

Today, Ranger Services specializes in electrical work with an unwavering commitment to safety, honesty, and treating customers like family. I’m passionate about staying up to date with electrical codes, offering free guidance, and making sure families sleep safely in their homes. But don’t just take my word for it! I’ve built my reputation on over 100 five-star reviews and countless relationships formed along the way.

When I’m not working (or researching tools and code updates), you’ll probably find me at a local live music venue, hiking to a waterfall, or singing karaoke. I’ve played over 1,000 shows as a bass player and visited nearly 70 waterfalls across the Southeast. Music, nature, and adventure keep me grounded. Someday, I may even offer waterfall road trips on the weekends!

My goal with Ranger Services has always been simple: do right by people, provide top-notch work, and build relationships along the way.
